In response to persistent queries from candidates, MPSC has issued an official statement about the provisional selection list for the Clerk-Typist category under the Maharashtra Group-C Services (Main) Examination 2023. Earlier, on February 11, 2024, the general merit list for the Clerk-Typist posts was uploaded to the official MPSC website. The Maharashtra Group-C Services examination saw one of the largest recruitment drives in MPSC history, with over 7,000 vacancies announced — including 7,034 posts for Clerk-Typist and 468 posts for Tax Assistant. The initial merit lists for both categories were made public on February 11, and candidates were expecting the provisional list within 15–20 days.
